THROUGH THESE DOORS

We've had an interesting assortment of animals this spring -- and plenty of them, as you can see:

• 141 Mallard ducks, including 125 ducklings
• 138 Eastern Gray Squirrels (mostly males, don't ask us why!)
• 58 Hummingbirds
• 43 Opossums
• 25 Bushtits
• 19 American Crows
• 3 Moles
• 1 Short-eared Owl
• 1 Arboreal Salamander (common in our area, but not in our shelter)

Also, from our baylands we received:

• 1 Dowitcher
• 1 Western Sandpiper
• 1 Long-billed Curlew
• 1 Black-crowned Night Heron
• 1 young Little Green Heron
