Where Does My Money Go?

Wildlife Rescue spends all of your donations for animal care and for the support services to rehabilitate them. We care for nearly 1800 wild animals every year and it costs us an average of $94 to care for each animal that comes through our doors.

Without your financial support and the work of our dedicated volunteers it would be impossible to take in this number of animals. On average throughout the year, 150 volunteers are working at any one time, both in the clinic and at home, to care for the animals you bring to us.

We have a very small paid staff of 3 full-time employees and 1 part-time employee. They include:
* 2 Animal Care Coordinators who manage all aspects of WRI’s clinic.
* 1 Animal Care Assistant who assists the Animal Care Coordinators by helping in the clinic.
* 1 Office Manager to oversee the day to day operations.

All other members of the Wildlife Rescue team are volunteers…including the Board of Directors.
