Wildlife Rehabilitation

Wildlife rehabilitation can be defined as restoring a wild animal to their natural state. After rehabilitation an animal must be healthy and strong enough to survive in its natural environment. It must be able to feed, find shelter, breed and escape dangers of all kinds. In particular it must be able to deal with the special challenges of living in an urban area. The animal must be properly fearful of domestic pets, cars and humans.

Wildlife Rescue, Inc. staff, volunteers and consulting veterinarians work together to provide care for a wide variety of wildlife patients with the ultimate goal being release back into the wild.
