WRI Welcomes New Office Manager
by Genna Barfoot
We are pleased to welcome Mark Walden as the newest addition to WRI's team. Mark started with WRI in December as a temporary employee from Manpower and was recently hired as our full-time office manager.
Mark holds a business degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He moved to California in 1984 and worked in the high-technology industry until 1997, when he retired and moved to Northern Idaho.
Mark brings to WRI extensive experience as a project manager in the computer industry. He recently moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to his children.
Mark especially likes the idea of being able to release animals back into the wild, and he also enjoys the challenges and rewards of working for a non-profit organization. Welcome Mark! We are lucky to have you as a part of the WRI team.
Donation Drawing Coming Next Month

This very important fundraiser gives everyone an opportunity to win wonderful prizes, such as dinners at local restaurants, admissions to theaters and museums, and golf, kayaking and sailing on the San Francisco Bay. This year, a special Members Only drawing will also be held (aren't you glad you joined?), and all entries are eligible for the GRAND PRIZE. Details will be in your specially marked mail in August, so open it, send in your tickets, and win!
