No worries - there are plenty of ways in which YOU can make a difference to the lives of wildlife where you live… Fun Things to DoMake a bird deflector! You can help stop birds flying into windows at home, by making this very simple but effective bird deflector. All you need are:
Tie the string firmly around the narrow end of the pinecone. Tie silver foil at 12” intervals along the string. Attach the string under the eaves above the window, OUTDOORS, with tape/ cuphook/ thumbtack. That’s all there is to it. Your window is no longer a danger to our feathered friends! Wildlife Rescue gives out bird deflectors at the clinic, saving birds from harm, and helping animals in the clinic at the same time. You can help by collecting pinecones, or by donating string or silver paper. Or why not get a group of friends together and make some bird deflectors for us? Find out what other useful items we collect. Fund-RaisingEven the smallest amount can make a difference! Money raised for Wildlife Rescue helps care for wildlife in your area. $2.50 buys a roll of paper towels Here are some suggestions of ways you can raise money for Wildlife Rescue:
