Many thanks to our Volunteers

DeenBrabant.jpgConcerned citizens brought almost 1800 animals to Wildlife Rescue in 2006. Most arrived in very poor condition; dehydrated, in a state of shock from injury and human handling, orphaned and too young to fend for themselves, or seriously wounded, and all in need of specialized treatment and care.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our volunteers, we achieved a very high release rate in 2006. The organization released 54.23% of the animals in its care back to their natural habitat!

Without YOU this success would not be possible. On average, throughout the year, 150 volunteers were working at any one time to achieve these results, both in the clinic and at home. Thank you for all of your help!!
